The View, Meditation, The Conduct and Result of Dzogchen

iew :

(1) non-existence (med pa) of a self in personhood and in phenomena;
(2) Oneness (gchig pu) of all in the ultimate sphere of the basis, as the spontaneously present primordial wisdom;
(3) Openness (phyal ba) of both samsara and nirvana in freedom from extremes; and
(4) The spontaneous presence (lhun grub) of the primordial qualities, which are naturally clear with no efforts.

editation:

Guides one to maintain the awakened state of the great primordial basis without any fixations. Shrisinha instructs Dudjom Lingpa, "Let go all the good and bad activities of the body, speech and mind, and remain in the state which is clear like the autumn sky."

onduct: teaches one to maintain the union of emptiness and compassion, which are inseparable like water and moisture, in every step of daily life.

esult: Realization of the Dharmakaya of the basis, which is clarity from the depth, having three Buddha-bodies: Equal purity of samsara and nirvana in the essence is the Dharmakaya; completion of the wisdom qualities in the nature is the Sambhogakaya; to be free from obscurations and naturally radiant in compassion, the power, is the Nirmanakaya.
