Avalokitesvara

AVALOKITESVARA. The bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Chenrezig), who represents the  compassion of all the Buddhas, has vowed never to enter Nirvana until all sentient beings achieve enlightment. The meditation practice of Avalokitesvara awakens our compassion.  AVALOKITESVARA'S mantra is:

OM MA NI PADME HUM

Medicine Buddha

MEDICINE BUDDHA. The source of all illness is the three poisons - ignorance, desire, and anger (or hatred). Medicine Buddha brings healing for the body, mind, and spirit of all beings. His meditation practice awakens the quality of healing for our benefit and that of all beings.   MEDICINE BUDDHA'S mantra is:

Green Tara

GREEN TARA, one of the 21 manifestations of the compassionate goddess Tara, helps us face our fears. GREEN TARA'S mantra is:

White Mahakala

WHITE MAHAKALA is a wrathful (compassionate ferocity) aspect of Avalokitesvara (Chenrezig). Through his compassion, White Mahakala eliminates spiritual and material poverty for all beings, bringing us abundance. WHITE MAHAKALA'S mantra is:

OM GURU MAHAKALA HARI NI SA SIDDHI DZA


Singhanata

SINGHANATA is the healing manifestation of the Bodhisattva of compassion, Avalokitesvara. Also known as Lion's Roar Avalokitesvara, this meditation practice cures the hidden (or Naga) diseases of all our lifetimes. This practice purifies damaged energies related to karma and non-virtuous acts. SINGHANATA's mantra is:

OM AH HRI SINGHANATA HUM PHAT


Singhamukha

SINGHAMUKHA, the Blue Lion-Headed Dakini helps us to rid ourselves of the demons and ghosts which are a reflection of our negativity, both conscious and unconscious. SINGHAMUKHA's mantra is:

Manjusri

MANJUSRI awakens our inner wisdom. He dispels ignorance, which is the root of all suffering, and helps us discover our crystal mind. MANJUSRI's mantra is:

Vajrapani

VAJRAPANI is a protector. The practice of Vajrapani helps us with protection and the fear of death and the fear of travel to unknown places. VAJRAPANI's mantra is:

Red Tara

Vajrasattva

 

 

Vajrasattva meditation is very beneficial for the confession and purification of sins. The most appropriate time to practice this meditation is at night, before going to sleep.

Vajrasattva's mantra is:

OM VAJRASATTVA SAMAYA MANUPALAYA VAJRASATTVA
TENOPA TISHTHA DRIDHO ME BHAVA SUTOSHYO ME
BHAVA SUPOSHYO ME BHAVA ANURAKTO ME BHAVA SARVA
